Rigoni di Asiago: Nocciolata and Seville Orange Fiordifrutta Review

We recently received two types of spreads, a fruit flavored and a chocolate hazelnut flavor. Rigoni di Asiago sent us Nocciolata, which is a hazelnut spread and Seville Orange Fiordifrutta, which is a orange spread made from 3 lbs of actual oranges. I am not one to try out jellies/jams or fruit spreads but my husband loves them! He has grown up with homemade jellies and couldn’t wait to test out the flavors. I ABSOLUTELY loved the hazelnut spread, it tasted like a reeses peanut butter cup, and I loved it on toast. My husband tried out both… Continue reading

Delicious Pecan Tarts Recipe

My husband is a Southerner. He loves pecans and I just happened to find a old family cookbook with a ton of amazing recipes for me to try out. KeyStone Meats, Canned Beef Review

I recently received a few samples from KeyStone to test out.

We had the choice to review beef, chicken or both. We chose the beef because I was a tad bit scared about a chicken in a can.  Honestly I was a bit nervous because I have never had beef in a can and if I had its the Spam which I am not to fond of.

My husband was a complete skeptic, especially after he opened the cans. We opened one can and it just didn’t seem enough to feed our family of five so we did use… Continue reading

Note from the Chef

This recipe is somewhat a labor of love—there are a number of steps involved, but the final result will make your taste buds sing. This recipe is hearty, substantial, and the perfect cold-weather comfort dish. It will have everyone around your table, no matter the occasion (or their dietary preference!), going back for seconds.

This lasagna not only has less saturated fat… Continue reading

Haunted in Louisiana, Time for a Thrill

It’s that time again, time for the spooky nights at your local cornfield maze or a run through the tree farm massacre. My favorite holiday is definitely Halloween time and living in Louisiana its a thrill.

Haunted in Louisiana

Whether you’re looking for spooky haunts that have been around for centuries, or commercial haunted attractions that will scare your pants off, Louisiana has you covered.

Pea Farm – The old jail, named the Caddo Parish Penal Farm but nicknamed the Pea Farm, is said to be haunted by prisoners that were beaten when the prison was still in operation. Reportedly,… Continue reading

Rosewill Induction Cooktop

I recently received the chance to review the Rosewill Induction Cooktop, I decided I was going to let my nanny test it out because her stove is giving her trouble. She wanted to make Christmas Dinner for us and the burners would stop working and all kinds of problems. I took her the cooktop, helped her get it set up and away she went, she absolutely adores it and I told her she could keep it as a gift. Since then she has been cooking as much as she can with it. Nanny doesn’t have a ton of counter… Continue reading

Rosewill’s New Induction Cooker Cook Tops; Halogen Convection Oven Review

I absolutely love to cook, but sometimes I get a little distracted and tend to burn things. I received the chance to review a Halogen Convection Oven and its amazing. It has a timer and helps me to remember how long each type of food cooks. Which is prefect for our household with everything that goes on day to day. Just a little helpful reminder that “Hey you have food cooking” “Ding Ding.”

My husband fell in love with this cooker, he can set it to go and come back and its done.  When we received the oven he… Continue reading

Stomp Rocket Review

I love to try out new products especially for my little’s. I received the Stomp Rocket to review recently and my little man LOVED it. He definitely was excited to get a new toy in the mail and the fact that it was a rocket was even better for him and my husband.

Set up is easy, there is absolutely no way for him to break it. Which is absolutely amazing because he breaks everything! My hubby is the exact same, he breaks everything so we have to be careful what we purchase. Set up is simple and basically 4… Continue reading
